The Arasha Rainforest Resort and Spa opened in 2002 and has quickly proven itself to be the best option for clients looking to visit the tropical forest while maintaining a high level of accommodation and service. Located two-hours away by paved road from Quito, Arasha is situated is surrounded by lush vegetation, tropical fruits, plants and trees, flowers, birds, and local fauna. Two rivers cross the property, which makes swimming an easy option. The average temperature is 76°F or 23°C.

The property offers a spa, excellent restaurants, a large swimming pool, and a large whirlpool bath inside a cave. Occasionally there are live shows and folklore performances in the auditorium.

Tours and Activities
The attractions within the resort have proven to be greatly appreciated by the resort's guests. Arasha offers a unique location that allows you to explore the beauty of the rainforest along the resorts trails. Safe paths allow trekking through the jungle with one of the expert guides, who will point out the natural wonders of this enchanting area.

Spa
The spa is one of the most popular attractions at the resort. There is no better way to relax and rejuvenate than to enjoy one or more of the many treatments offered at the spa. Trained professionals offer these treatments.

Accommodations
There are 47 rooms and suites in 27 bungalows. Each room offers ample closet space, original paintings, and spacious private bathroom.

* Double or Single (42): These rooms are furnished with Queen or two twin sized beds and a private bathroom.
* Presidential Suite (1): Furnished with one King size bed, minibar, Jacuzzi, private bathroom and living room.
* Suite (4): All suites include one Queen size bed, mini bar, and private bathroom decorated with black stone walls. The location of these suites is at the highest point in the resort and offer fabulous views of the surrounding area.
