The 100-passenger ship GALAPAGOS EXPLORER II is extremely comfortable as it offers "Suites" (not cabins) throughout, large public areas including an outdoor dining area with pool and Jacuzzi, a sun deck for soaking up the sun and relaxing in between island visits, a lounge and piano bar. Naturalist guides help make your Galapagos experience a rewarding education in nature and wildlife. There is a naturalist room, where visitors can watch videos, read books, look at pictures and maps all related to the Galapagos Islands. On board you will find a swimming pool, solarium, spacious dining room, an electronic elevator, large conference room, lounge, three bar areas with music, boutique and reading room, hospital. From December to April, enjoy the nightly stargazing lectures.

19 Classic Suites (Magellan and Columbus decks) - approx. 215 sq. ft. in size. Suites on the Magellan Deck have 3 large portholes and large walk-in closets, while Suites on the Columbus Deck have windows.
- 13 Premium Suites (Marco Polo Deck) - approx. 215 sq. ft. in size. Suites feature three picture windows and two full length wardrobes.
- 12 Deluxe Suites (Erickson Deck) - vary in size from 235 sq. ft. to 250 sq. ft. Suites have three large windows.
- 2 Renaissance Panoramic Suites (Erickson Deck) - approx. 251 sq. ft. in size. The suites have three picture windows and overlook the bow of the ship.
- 4 Renaissance Balcony Suites (Explorer Deck) - approx. 287 sq. ft. in size. These suites offer the ultimate amenity: a private verandah.
Each suite has a separate sitting area, private washroom with marble vanity and personal hairdryer, television, VCR, refrigerator, and one queen or two twin beds.
