Day 1: Arrive in Lima
Reception at the Lima airport and transfer to your hotel. Hotel.

Day 2: Lima
This morning or afternoon, you embark on 3 hour sightseeing tour of Lima and its important landmarks. Continue to the Larco Herrera Museum. Continue to the Larco Herrera Museum to view the world's largest private collection of pre-Colombian art with a unique assortment of erotic pottery, genuine and rich jewels in gold, silver and semi-precious stones. Day 3: Lima to Puerto Maldonaldo
Transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Puerto Maldonaldo. On arrival in Puerto Maldonaldo, embark in small canoes for a cruise to the Reservas Amazonica. After lunch you will have your first exploration of the jungle surrounding the lodge. Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Puerto Maldonaldo
Full day of excursions in the area. Walking and canoe excursions are scheduled to facilitate the observation of animals in their natural habitats. Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Puerto Maldonaldo to Cusco
Return to Puerto Maldonaldo to board the flight to Cusco. In Cusco, transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to rest and acclimatize. Hotel. (B)

Day 6: Cusco
Morning tour of Cusco and the surround ruins including Sacsayhuaman. Afternoon at leisure. Hotel. (B)

Day 7: Full day in the Sacred Valley: Pisac and Ollantaytambo
First, visit Ollantaytambo, the Inca fortress, and walk through the quaint streets of the nearby town. After lunch, you drive through the valley to Pisac, where you will have the opportunity to bargain with the vendors at the typical market. Overnight in the Sacred Valley. Hotel. (B, L)

Day 8: Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
Early morning transfer to the Ollanta train station. Train service to Machu Picchu, “The Lost City of the Incas”. Guided tour of this marvelous citadel. You’ll visit the main plaza, the royal quarters, the Temple of Three Windows, the circular tower and the sacred Sun Dial and burial grounds. Hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 9: Machu Picchu to Cusco
We suggest you rise early this morning to admire Machu Picchu at sunrise, a truly mystical experience. Morning at leisure to continue exploring or perhaps attempt climbing Huayna Picchu. Afternoon train to Cusco. Transfer from the Cusco train station to your hotel. Hotel. (B)

Day 10: Cusco to Lima
Morning transfer to the Cusco airport for the flight to Lima. On arrival in Lima, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Pachacamac Ruins, south of Lima and the fascinating Archaeological Museum. Hotel. (B)

Day 11: Depart Lima
Morning transfer to the Lima airport for your departure flight from Lima. (B)
